Ilaria Fabbri (born in Formigine in 1988) is an architect, in 2013 she received a Master Degree cum laude at Architcture Department in Ferrara, with a project thesis named “The Former Salesian Oratory towards the new square for the youth in Faenza: reuse project and urban regeneration”.
She is re-use consultant for the society that holds the complex she studied in her master thesis, where she also coordinated an International Workshop about architecture and urban design, in cooperation with Architecture Department in Ferrara, École Nationale Supérieure d’Architecture et de Paysage in Bordeaux, the University of Technology in Lodz and The Neri Bloomfield School of Design in Haifa.
From 2013 Ilaria Fabbri is tutor and teaching assistant at Architecture Design Laboratory and in 2015 she received an office about didactic integration focused on the role of retail as a tool for urban regeneration, at Architecture Department in Ferrara.
Cofounder of OURLab – Other Urban Resources Laboratory, Ilaria deals with creative reuse and low-cost intervention. She is incharge, with other professionals, of the public architecture jobs of the transformation of the former Firestation in Ferrara into Spazio Grisù, the first creative Factory in Emilia Romagna.
Ilaria Fabbri contributes to the research centre MD | Next City Lab, where she is investigating different topics among which innovative workspaces and smart ways for waste collection in the city.
